Did You Know?
When the Vancouver Canucks joined the NHL in 1970, Orlund Kurtenbach was the first captain. Orlund was inducted to the BC Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 and was the first person inducted to the Vancouver Canucks ring of honour at Rogers Arena.
